Abstract:
Dak Nong is a Central Highlands province with many majestic natural landscapes and unique cultural features that are preserved as tourism resources of the province. Those are also advantages for the province to have the opportunity to promote stronger tourism development. On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the re-establishment of Dak Nong province, the Institute of Geography was assigned to carry out a project to build an electronic tourism map for the province to provide important information supporting tourism managers, increasing the attractiveness of tourist destinations and contributing to effectively promoting Dak Nong tourism in the digital age. The article introduces the results of the project including a GIS database and electronic tourism map using WebGIS technology for Dak Nong province. The following maps were developed including: Natural tourism resources map; cultural tourism resource map; Map of tourist attractions; Tourist route map; Tourism flow map; Map of infrastructure and technical facilities serving tourism.
